Also known as Botox or wrinkle relaxers. These are superficial injections into facial muscles of the neurotoxin Botulinum Toxin which is a naturally occurring protein produced from a bacterium called Clostridium Botulinum. The neurotoxin acts by temporarily blocking the nerve signal within the muscle which results in the weakening
of the muscle action and therefore reducing the lines those muscles create during facial expressions.
I offer anti-wrinkle injections to 3 areas of the face: the forehead, the frown and around the eyes (crows feet)
Once treated you can expect to notice results in about 4 days and the full effects will be present around day 10. All my clients are offered a free follow-up appointment at 2 weeks when the effects of the treatment can be reviewed.
Following the treatment the effects will last about 3 months. Over that time the treatment will gradually wear off as the nerve terminal in the muscle recovers and the movement re starts.
It is not recommended to have any repeat treatments before 3 months.
There are no long-term side effects from having repeated treatments. Having anti-wrinkle injections will not make fine lines and wrinkles worse if you decide to stop having repeated treatments.
The anti wrinkle treatments in my clinic are designed to look natural and therefore you will still have some movement in your facial muscles. You will still be able to make facial expressions and will not appear ‘frozen’
If you have never had anti-wrinkle injections before, I understand you may be worried and have lots of questions. All my clients receive a free consultation before any treatment where you will be given the time to ask as many questions as you like and it is not a problem if you decide not to go ahead with the treatment.

Microneedling is a medical skin treatment. It uses a device which contains multiple small needles. These are passed all over the face. The needles move up and down very quickly and penetrate deep layers of the skin. The procedure is not painful as the skin is numbed beforehand. The process of microneedling causes injury to the skin in a controlled way which stimulates the skin to repair itself. During the repair process the blood flow to the skin increases and the skin increases its collagen and elastin production.
The needles create millions of micro channels within the skin which allows the use of mesotherapy. Mesotherapy is the process of applying products into deeper layers of the skin. These products contain active ingredients which stimulate the skin on a cellular level to make changes such as increase collagen production.
Mesotherapy products also contain high concentrations of hyaluronic acid, minerals and vitamins to improve the health of your skin. There are different mesotherapy products that can be used depending on your main skin concerns.

Profhilo is a bioremodeller and a skin booster. It contains a high concentration of hyaluronic acid so acts as an intense moisturiser to the skin, but it also stimulates the cells in the skin to make more collagen and elastin.
Profhilo aims to create a rejuvenated, more youthful appearance of the skin. Like the skin boosters it is not a filler and does not change the shape of the face.
Profhilo can be used to treat the face and neck. It is recommended the first treatment is repeated after one month and can then be
repeated again or at 6- 12 month intervals.

During your skin care consultation I will ask you questions about your skin. What concerns you and what issues you are having. I will then ask you about the current skincare cosmetics products you are using or products that you have used in the past.
Following the skincare consultation each client will receive a bespoke skincare routine with different product recommendations from Alumier MD, Neostrata and Mesoestetic. The information will contain lots of advice on how and when to use the products in order to achieve the best results.
I can recommend a range of medical grade skin products specifically for you and your skin concerns. These can be used alongside products you may already be using.
Medical grade skin products can be much stronger than those bought over the counter. You may also need a private prescription for dr skin care which I can prescribe for you. A private prescription fee may apply.
I can offer treatment and advice on skin conditions such as acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, dry and irritated skin and sensitive skin. I can also recommend skin products to help with pigmentation and ageing skin.
There is no obligation to buy any of the skin products I have recommended following the consultation. However, there is the option to purchase the products through Dr Beth Cosmetics as the clinic is affiliated with Alumier MD, Neostrata and Mesoestetic.

Polynucleotides are small fragments of DNA that have been extracted from fish cells. They are then mixed with purified sterile water. This can then be injected into the skin. The skin cells can use the DNA fragments as building blocks to repair and regenerate. These products have been used in medicine for wound care since the 1980s and more recently have gained popularity in aesthetic treatments.
It is recommended that you have a course of 3 treatments spaced 4 weeks apart to achieve the best results.
Polynucleotides are injected into different areas of the skin via very small superficial injections. The skin is numbed beforehand.
Following the treatment there will be multiple small bumps in the skin that can last for a few days.
There are many benefits from polynucleotide treatments including moisturising and antioxidant properties. They can enhance hydration and improve elasticity and tightness in the skin due to them helping to stimulate collagen and elastin.
Overall they are aiming to improve skin quality and can help with excess skin and tired looking skin around the eyes and signs of facial aging leading to more youthful and rejuvenated skin.
